Personal Injury/Industrial Disease Solicitor – Cardiff 

Join a Legal 100 specialist claimant-focused team of expert solicitors provides specialist advice to clients who have suffered preventable injuries or workplace-related illnesses. 

The Role:

This opportunity is available for a newly qualified Solicitor up to 3PQE to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and industrial disease claims.

What you will do:

• Taking initial client enquiries and drafting witness statements
• Managing disclosure and reviewing documents
• Keeping clients updated on their claims
• Assisting in instructing counsel and preparing court documents
• Preparing detailed schedules of loss
• Assessing complex medical or occupational health issues and reviewing expert reports
• Advising on offers and settlement negotiations
• Proactively managing a caseload with minimal supervision
• Supporting and supervising the Paralegal team

Skills & Qualifications:

• Exposure to claimant litigation is essential
• Previous industrial disease or personal injury experience is advantageous but not essential
