We're working with a leading building maintenance provider and they're looking to add a Technical Account Manager to lead a high-end commercial contract.
The Account Manager will contribute to business development initiatives, ensuring services are delivered in a streamlined manner in line with agreed budgets and contractual requirements. Additionally, the role includes overseeing and evaluating both service quality and financial outcomes across all assigned accounts and while encouraging continuous improvement.

Account Manager Key Duties:
- Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance for all assets recorded within the client’s CAFM system, ensuring delivery aligns with the agreed maintenance strategy.
- Analyse PPM schedules and asset data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, cost savings, and potential contract growth through additional services or enhanced offerings.
- Manage and ensure full compliance across all FM operations on the account.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, working collaboratively with both internal teams and the client to ensure all requirements are met.
- Ensure internal audits are conducted in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Provide effective subcontractor management across the full FM service delivery.
- Investigate service failures, implementing robust and sustainable corrective actions.
- Maintain consistent service delivery standards in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Hold full responsibility for the account’s profit and loss (P&L).
Account Manager Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-calibre account management within a Building Services environment
- Experience managing both large, single-site operations and multi-site portfolios
- Extensive background working in critical facilities and highly process-driven organisations
- Proven track record in supporting bids and tenders, contributing to sales and contract awards, securing new business, and driving growth within existing accounts
- Strong understanding of current maintenance management practices, systems, and technology-led solutions
- Substantial experience overseeing maintenance contracts with an annual value exceeding £2 million
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Building Management Systems (BMS), and CAFM/CMMS platforms
- Solid understanding of financial management and commercial principles
- ONC/HNC qualification, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline
