Set up and operate CNC punch cell and/or CNC turret punch press tooling and equipment.
Responsible for safe work habits
Maintain 5S responsibilities of assigned work areas
Set up CNC punch cell and/or CNC turret punch press as required to perform operation to process.
Determine parts to be run and set up programs into controller.
Create simple programs.
Retrieve, load, and unload specified materials and parts.
Check parts produced to drawing tolerances and make adjustments as needed.
Check quality to insure conformance to specifications.
Maintain constant observance of quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain proper quality
Advise supervisor, CNC punch lead person, or punch programmer of deviations.
Use safety devices as prescribed by the manufacturer or MEP.
Perform specified preventive maintenance of equipment and tooling and assist in repairs as required.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred with one to two years related experience and/or training
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding required.
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills required.
Must have good attendance record (must have less than 10 points)
