Aerospace Manufacturing

Weston Aerospace Ltd (part of the Auxitrol Weston Operating Unit) designs and manufactures high-performance temperature, speed and pressure sensors for aerospace applications. Based in Farnborough, our 160-strong team supports global aerospace programmes with advanced manufacturing and environmental testing capability.

We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support production, improve processes, and drive automation initiatives.

What You'll Do

Provide technical support on the shop floor

*

Improve and optimise manufacturing processes

*

Support automation, robotics and automated test solutions

*

Evaluate equipment/process risks using structured problem-solving

*

Assist with validation of process improvements

*

Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams

What We're Looking For

*

Engineering qualification (Level 4/5 - HNC/HND or equivalent)

*

Experience in manufacturing/engineering support roles

*

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

*

Understanding of Lean manufacturing

*

Knowledge of mechanical assembly & electrical testing

*

2D/3D modelling experience (tooling, jigs, fixtures)

Desirable

Automation, robotics, ATE, ERP/MES systems, AS9100 experience.
