An impressive financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its UK finance function. This is a key leadership role responsible for statutory, regulatory and governance reporting across multiple UK-regulated legal entities. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely financial reporting, while leading audit coordination and supporting capital management activities.
The Role
- Leading the UK Group Reporting team and overseeing delivery of accurate financial reporting outputs
- Coordinating the end-to-end statutory audit process, working closely with internal SMEs and external auditors
- Ensuring timely submission of annual statutory accounts
- Managing quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, including Solvency II
- Supporting capital planning and forecasting
- Preparing technical accounting papers for new business initiatives and complex transactions
- Presenting financial statements and key reporting outputs to internal governance committees
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders up to board level
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Proven experience coordinating statutory audit processes
- Solid understanding of Solvency II regulatory reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Experience managing and developing team members
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
