This company is a leading FMCG manufacturer with 3 large manufacturing sites worldwide with this being the only UK facility. You will be joining a site receiving active investment and is expecting to double production capacity within the next 2 years. You will be joining an engineering team who work on a 3-shift rotation basis reporting into an Engineering Manager & Shift Team Leaders.

* £40,559 inclusive of shift allowance

Person Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

* Time served engineer, MUST be from FMCG background (Food, Beverage, Brewery)

* Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND

* Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments

* Either Mechanical or Electrical Bias

* Basic facilities maintenance skills

Job Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Working as the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will ideally have experience of maintaining production plant machinery from both a mechanical and electrical perspective.

* Work in partnership with the Engineering manager, shift lead, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to plant process equipment machinery.

* Responding to breakdowns and working to PPM's.

* Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

* Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.

* Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules.

* Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.

* Utilities maintenance and projects when required.
