Cnc Turner
Main purpose of job: We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner/Engineer with expertise in setting sliding head machines to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and manufacturing, with a specific focus on CNC sliding head turning.
Cnc Turner Responsibilities
* Set up and operate Citizen CNC machines for turning operations
* Interpret technical drawings and program CNC machines accordingly
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality output
* Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
* Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize processes and improve efficiency
* Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards(ISO9001) at all times
Day to Day:
* Setting up Citizen CNC machines for turning operations
* Programming machines based on technical drawings
* Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments
* Collaborating with the engineering team to optimize processes
* Conducting maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
* Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards (ISO9001)
* Not a clean job.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a CNC setter and turner
* In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and operation
* Strong understanding of sliding head turning techniques
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Excellent attention to detail and quality consciousness
* Knowledge of plastics would be advantageous
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Certification or diploma in engineering or related field is preferred
