The Role:
Construo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor delivering fit out, refurbishment, and new build projects across the UK.

This is a key role within the commercial team, overseeing cost control, managing contracts, and ensuring the financial success of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account

* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages

* Preparation of valuations, variations, and cost reports

* Client and stakeholder liaison, ensuring commercial agreements are maintained

* Managing both NEC and JCT contract forms

* Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team development

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

* Strong background in fit out, refurbishment, and new build projects

* Detailed knowledge of both NEC and JCT contracts

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred
