Lancashire Teaching Agency are seeking a SEN Secondary Music Teacher for a Specialist school near the Preston area. This role is a full-time position covering 5 days per week and is to start in September 2024. The role is a long-term position continuing until at least December 2024 This is a fantastic opportunity for a long-term Teacher cover working in a lovely Specialist School. 

Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience/strong knowledge of the MUSIC curriculumis essential for this position.  Experience teaching children with SEN would be beneficial.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
•Preparing, planning, and delivering high standards of lessons to ensure the continuous development of our pupils
•Mark and monitor classwork, alongside setting targets for future progress
•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
•Monitoring pupils progress in reference to the school’s practice
•Excellent behaviour management skills
