Our client, a leading firm in the power utilities and construction sectors, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join their team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on major projects within the utilities and engineering industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with our client's standards, policies, and procedures as well as those of its customers
Manage multiple and/or significant projects effectively, ensuring they are completed safely, to high standards, on time, and within budget
Ensure all sub-contracts comply with our client's company policies
Ensure projects adhere to all current legislation including CDM, HASAWA, NRSWA, and C.O.S.H.H.
Assist in costing schemes for quotations when required
Identify and report commercial opportunities to our client's Directors as appropriate
Review and monitor project schedules using appropriate project management tools

Job Requirements:

Experience in project management within the civil engineering, construction, or power utilities sectors
Strong understanding of project management principles and tools
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality, time, and budget requirements
Knowledge of legislations such as CDM, HASAWA, NRSWA, and C.O.S.H.H.
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in identifying and capitalising on commercial opportunities
Relevant degree or qualification in civil engineering or a related field
