Document Controller

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our client working on a 2-year project based in Essex. This is an opportunity to work on the project from the start and to see out the project from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to work on a project as a sole document controller and take control of maintaining the smooth operation and success of their projects.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain the document control register to ensure all documentation is accessible and up-to-date.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) efficiently to support project continuity.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent oversight and coordination.
- Upload risk assessments to the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Prepare Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for project handovers, ensuring all relevant information is accurately compiled and available.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction sector.
- Proficient in using various EDMS platforms such as Procore, Asite, Aconex, SharePoint, BIW, and 4Project.
- Strong ability to work independently and support project teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
