Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a growing manufacturing team in Hull, providing essential maintenance support to ensure operations run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical faults, ensuring timely and effective resolution to minimise downtime.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for equipment and process enhancements.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job reports in line with company procedures.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

About You:

Time-served engineer with a mechanical bias and some electrical experience (ideally with 17th/18th Edition, but not essential).

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards challenges.
