Health & Social Care Lecturer

• Hourly Rate: £30 to £35

We are seeking a dedicated Health & Social Care Lecturer to join our team, delivering L2 and L3 courses. The role involves approximately 20-24 hours of teaching per week, from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with an additional 4 hours dedicated to administrative duties. The ideal candidate can start as soon as possible.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons for Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC Health & Social Care courses.
• Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain student attendance records and other necessary documentation.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
• Offer guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience teaching Level 3 BTEC Health & Social Care.
• A teaching qualification is ideal but not mandatory.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and motivating environment for students.
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
