The UK arm of a multi-national provider of unique, big ticket industrial fastenings, hardware, components and consumables supply chain and logistics solutions is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to further develop their business in the South East and Home Counties.
BASIC SALARY: Negotiable dependant on experience to attract the right person

JOB DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - Industrial Fastenings, Components, Hardware and Consumables Supply Chain Solutions to OEMs.
· A potentially long lead time, multi-decision maker sell dealing with engineering, quality, logistics, procurement personnel of all levels up to board and Managing Director as this is often a strategic decision for the customer.
· You will be actively promoting my client's unique service and technology based JIT (Just in Time), Managed Inventory / TCO / Material Management / Value Added proposition targeting companies ideally with an annual spend from £100k up to £3m+ .
· The company has an extensive database to work from, but you will also be using your own market knowledge and research and generating your own leads.
· You could be looking to introduce a customer to this type of solution or will be looking to knock a competitor out of the potential customer by providing a better supply chain solution for their component and consumable needs.
· My client has a network of locations reporting with whom you will work and liaise closely with.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - Industrial Fastenings, Components, Hardware and Consumables Supply Chain Solutions to OEMs.
To be considered for this lucrative role in terms of earnings and career progression you will have:
· Experience of, and success in, a similar new business development or senior sales role ideally in  industrial, or technical components, hardware or consumables or an industrial / engineering, supply chain, or possibly some other industrial logistics / supply chain solutions environment.
· The experience or ability to sell a big ticket Just in Time (JIT), managed inventory / material management, Kanban, value added Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) solutions at a senior level to OEM and MRO markets.
· The tenacity to get in front of senior level decision makers but the patience to deal with a multi-level sell and long lead times.
Established over 40 years with a £1bn+ annual turnover operating from 70 facilities across 3 continents with experience in over 100 industries and partnerships over 10,000 suppliers, my client has a very well established UK operation with 9 locations and consistent year on year growth.
They have vast expertise in nearly every inventory management discipline, use of advanced and emerging technologies and a singularly connected global infrastructure with the intellectual and technological infrastructure to give customers a programme of process, resource and production efficiencies that improve their competitive position in their marketplaces.
Excellent in a growing UK operation and multinational company.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Sales Manager, Sales Director, National Account Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager : Industrial Fasteners, Components, Hardware and Consumables Supply Chain Solutions to OEMs
