Accounts Assistant

• Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a well-known family business who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance function.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the company purchase ledger
• Processing supplier invoices 
• Matching invoices to POs
• Raising sales invoices and credit notes
• Monitoring aged debt
• Processing of weekly payroll
• Reconciling bank accounts daily
• Assisting with month-end processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an accounting role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great attention to detail
