Administrator / Weighbridge Operator

Our client is seeking a highly organised and reliable Administrator to support a busy remediation business, overseeing the weighbridge function on site. This is a standalone role working closely alongside the Site Manager, offering excellent responsibility and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing the weighbridge operation, including liaising with wagon drivers upon entry and exit

* Processing waste transfer notes, including recording material weights

* Scanning and distributing waste documentation to clients daily

* Inputting daily vehicle and waste movement data into spreadsheets

* Handling approximately 35-50 wagons per day in a fast-paced environment

* Managing and overseeing a shared email inbox

* Communicating with clients and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations

* Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email

* Logging all incoming enquiries accurately

* Distributing purchase orders to relevant parties

* Confident and professional communicator, both on the phone and via email

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Methodical approach to tasks and workload management

* Able to work independently in a standalone role

* Reliable, punctual, and committed

What We Offer

* Salary: £28,000

* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

* Working hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
