Harvey Nash are working with a leading organisation who are looking to recruit for a Fabric Platform Engineer on a 6 month contract initially, inside IR35.

The Platform Engineer is responsible for building, and governing the organisation's Microsoft Fabric data platform, including One Lake, PowerBi, Lakehouse/Warehouse, and associated pipelines. This is a build focused engineering role, not an operational support role.

The client is looking for someone with the following experience:

• Strong Azure platform engineering experience, including identity, networking, governance, and monitoring.
• Handson experience building and operating Microsoft Fabric workloads.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Purview governance tools and patterns.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform or ARM) and Gitbased workflows.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
