Role: Team Manager (Ocean Export)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily activities to ensure smooth departmental operations.
• Address and resolve operational issues, offering guidance to team members.
• Coordinate staff leave requests to maintain adequate coverage, including handling unexpected absences.
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and manage performance improvement plans.
• Coach and train employees to support their professional growth.
• Monitor workload to ensure all departments are running smoothly.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance existing and new policies and comply with country-specific requirements.
• Prepare month-end reports for senior management, highlighting issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and implement export strategies to drive international sales growth.
• Manage and oversee the entire export process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all export laws and regulations, including customs and trade compliance.
• Provide training and support to staff on export procedures and regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on export activities, sales performance, and market analysis for senior management.

Experience:

• Proven experience in export management and managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using export management software and tools.
