Quantity Surveyor - Care Home Projects

📍 Gloucester | 💰 Up to £60,000 + Package

Walker & Sloan are partnering with a leading regional contractor seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

You'll be working predominantly on care home projects across Gloucestershire and the South West, typically valued between £5m and £15m. This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS who enjoys a blend of autonomy, support, and interesting project work.

Responsibilities:
✅ Full commercial management of allocated projects
✅ Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
✅ CVRs, valuations and final accounts
✅ Cost reporting to Commercial Manager

Ideal candidate:

Experience within new build or refurbishment sectors

Knowledge of JCT contracts (other forms beneficial too)

*

Able to manage projects independently

*

Client-facing with good negotiation skills
