An ambitious secondary school in Newcastle is recruiting a dynamic and imaginative Drama Teacher to join their Performing Arts team. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in September, and is suitable for ECTs or experienced professionals with a flair for performance-based education.

The school has a strong tradition in the creative arts, and drama plays a key role in promoting confidence, collaboration, and creativity across all year groups. You will teach KS3 and GCSE Drama, and have the opportunity to lead or support school productions, theatre visits, and enrichment workshops.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver drama lessons that combine practical performance with theoretical understanding

Develop students' skills in acting, devising, directing, and evaluating performance

Lead extracurricular drama clubs, rehearsals, and performances

What We're Looking For

A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or Performing Arts

QTS/QTLS

Experience teaching drama at secondary level
