Our client is a well regarded educational institution based in Ilford, London, seeking a proactive and driven School Business Manager to support the strategic and operational running of the school.

This is a key position within the organisation, responsible for overseeing financial management, supporting HR functions, and ensuring the smooth day to day operation of a busy school environment. The role also plays an important part in identifying and securing new revenue opportunities to support long term sustainability.

As a School Business Manager, you will:

  • Lead on strategic financial management, budgeting, and reporting
  • Identify and develop new income streams and funding opportunities
  • Oversee HR processes and support the management of a busy office team
  • Ensure effective day to day operational management across the school
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support decision making and planning

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong financial background with experience in strategic financial management
  • Experience managing HR processes and leading administrative teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable using IT systems including Microsoft Office and school MIS platforms
  • Proactive, driven, and able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
