Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accounts for a portfolio of clients
  • Manage client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of work
  • Prepare and review bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and gather information
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
  • Support the development of junior colleagues through guidance and feedback
  • Work closely with tax and other teams to support compliance and advisory work
  • Begin to identify risks, inefficiencies, or areas for process improvement

To be considered for the role you will need a minimum of 18 months experience at a UK firm of accountants; ideally working in year end accounting.

You must be confident, keen to learn and most importantly someone that takes real pride in what they do.
