Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for a portfolio of clients
- Manage client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of work
- Prepare and review bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and gather information
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Support the development of junior colleagues through guidance and feedback
- Work closely with tax and other teams to support compliance and advisory work
- Begin to identify risks, inefficiencies, or areas for process improvement
To be considered for the role you will need a minimum of 18 months experience at a UK firm of accountants; ideally working in year end accounting.
You must be confident, keen to learn and most importantly someone that takes real pride in what they do.
