Academics are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Primary/Secondary science teacher to work in an SEN School in Cardiff. The school caters for pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 and aims to provide a happy learning environment with a curriculum that meets the needs of all their pupils. They are committed to ensuring that students have the opportunity to progress by offering appropriate and bespoke provision within a nurturing yet stimulating learning environment in order for them to live as independently as possible.
The role will involve delivering lower level science lessons and providing scientific educational experiences to pupils of different ages and abilities throughout the school. Additional roles and responsibilities may be expected, in which case additional pay may be awarded.
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Special Education Needs and will be a qualified Primary/secondary science teacher. They will have a passion for their subject and will have a creative, inspirational approach to delivering the curriculum. A willingness to undertake further training as appropriate is essential.
You will be joining a team of experienced staff committed to achieving the highest level of attainment for all pupils and with high expectations of themselves. They will offer you the opportunity to further develop your practise in a nurturing and supportive staff environment.
- Be a qualified Primary/Secondary science teacher with the ability to deliver science.
- Have experience and/or an interest in SEN
