We are pleased to be working with an excellent financial services company located in Huddersfield who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Submit Company Tax Returns
- Prepare Personal Tax Returns for a variety of individuals
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping
- Prepare VAT returns for assigned clients
- Work with leading cloud-based software such as Xero and Quick Books
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships
Skills:
- Minimum of 5 year's experience working in an accounts department (Industry or Practice)
- AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
- Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, or similar
- Strong communication skills - able to speak clearly with clients and colleagues
