Job Title: Multi Skilled Operative
Location: Kettering & Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary / Pay Rate: £22 per hour (Umbrella)
Job Type: Iinitial 3 months, with potential to extend

We're looking for experienced and versatile Multi Skilled Operative to join the Planned Maintenance Team with North Northamptonshire Council.

You'll be working primarily on empty properties, preparing them for new tenants, carrying out:

• Kitchen fitting

• Tiling

• Flooring

• Basic plumbing

• Carpentry repairs

You will be required to drive council vans and work across both Kettering and Corby depots.

To be successful, you will need:

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multiskilled Trades

• Asbestos Awareness Certificate (must be provided)

• Experience working in social housing or void property maintenance

• Strong skills in kitchen fitting, tiling, and flooring

• Full UK driving licence (clean)

• Flexibility to work across multiple depots
