Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:15pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

The role of the Facilities Manager:

* Oversee daily operations of building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and security

* Schedule and track regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks.

* Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, regulations, and company policies including risk assessments

* Oversee cleaning, waste disposal, parking, security, and other facility services.

* Monitor and control expenses related to facilities operations.

* Carry out regular fire alarm tests, fire drills and ensure emergency equipment is maintained and compliant (eg. Fire extinguishers, defibrillators).

* Work with internal departments and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The person for the Facilities Manager:

* Proven experience as a Facilities Manager in a manufacturing environment

* Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and H&S legislation

* Excellent organizational and project management skills.

* Ability to manage budgets and external service contracts.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional desirable skills for the Facilities Manager:

* Previous experience in a manufacturing facility (essential)

* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (essential)

* Facilities Management or Building Services qualification (not essential)

* First Aid and Fire Marshall training (not essential)
