Commissioning Engineer
Location: Various UK & International sites (with up to 80% travel)

Summary
We are seeking talented Commissioning Engineers to join a growing engineering team. This role is ideal for those with hands-on electrical commissioning experience who are motivated to further develop their career in automated material handling and control systems.
You will play a vital role in electrical and PLC software commissioning, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, innovative projects while expanding your technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Commission electrical and PLC control systems on customer sites.
* Support system testing, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
* Produce detailed commissioning documentation, including test specifications, method statements, and risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with CE and machinery directive standards.
* Work with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery.
* Maintain a professional, solution-focused approach and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* HNC/HND in Electrical or Controls Engineering (essential).
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (desirable).
* Hands-on electrical commissioning experience.
* Exposure to PLC, HMI, or SCADA systems (desirable, but training provided if needed).
* Good understanding of bus systems and ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Understanding of automated warehouse or material handling environments (desirable).
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally (up to 80%)
