Overview

Florin Healthcare are excited to be working with an elderly care provider seeking out an experienced Home Manager in the West Sussex area. The home is a medium sized elderly care home that provides, Nursing, Residential and Dementia care and is part of a great business with an excellent reputation. You will be responsible for managing the service ensuring that residents are getting the best possible care and should be comfortable working in the private luxury market. We are seeking someone who has strong business acumen, and is commercially savvy - in terms of having the ability to market privately funded beds, as this is a brand new nursing home commissioning project.

You will be given the rare opportunity to build your own team from scratch and really make the service your own!

The candidate

The ideal Home Manager should be someone who can lead from the front, have good commercial knowledge as well as a good understanding of CQC regulations and guidelines. You should have experience of working in a similar setting previously with a proven CQC record. Being able to market beds is essential. We would also be even more excited by someone who is a registered nurse, however this isnt essential if you have a strong track record of managing nursing homes!

Location: The home is based in the West Sussex area and is commutable from Crawley, Worthing, Haywards Heath, Sayers Common, Horsham, Brighton, Lancing, Burgess Hill and surrounding areas
