Monarch Education have a fantastic opportunity available in one of our wonderful secondary schools based in Kenilworth for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher or subject specialist.

For this role, we do not ask that you have a teaching degree, although experience teaching would be beneficial, as this exciting role will involve the delivery of the Music curriculum being taught across Key Stage 3&4 year groups.

You will be part of a very successful department and will be key to helping the department move forward and increase the number of opportunities available to students at the school.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • QTS, but not essential!
  • Excellent behaviour management and organisation skills.
  • A passion for teaching and enabling pupils to meet their full potential, while inspiring and engaging all pupils in Music.
  • Outstanding subject knowledge.
  • Excellent adaptability skills to accompany their teaching style to suit the relevant year group.
  • The ability to build quick relationships with pupils and colleagues along with having confidence in their own teaching ability.
  • Experience working with children either in 1:1, group or class situations.
  • Valid enhanced DBS clearance (Can apply for this through us)

Schedule:

  • No weekends
