Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a lasting impact? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join a nurturing and specialist SEN school in Chester, supporting a mixed Year 2 and Year 3 class with complex needs and a range of behaviours. Pupils are currently working at an EYFS developmental level, and require a patient, creative, and resilient professional to help them thrive.

About the Role:

Supporting pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and social-emotional challenges

*
Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored learning at EYFS level

*
Collaborating closely with the class teacher and wider support team

*
Implementing behaviour strategies and sensory-based interventions

*
Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working in an SEN setting is essential

*
Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development

*
Confident managing a range of behaviours with empathy and consistency

*
Team player with excellent communication skills

*
A calm, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs
