Service Care Solutions is working with a community-centred local authority, based in Dudley, which is looking to recruit an experienced Housing Paralegal to support their Housing Legal Team on an initial contract basis. Rate: £22.32 - £26.67phKey duties include:

• Advising Housing staff on tenancy enforcement, breach of tenancy (including ASB and nuisance), possession proceedings, injunctions, committal and closure orders.
• Drafting notices, claim forms, particulars of claim, court applications, gas warrants and directions to leave.
• Preparing trial bundles for County Court, High Court and Magistrates’/Youth Court hearings.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting solicitors within Housing Services on matters both prior to formal instruction of the Law and Governance Division and following instruction, providing ongoing case support as required.
• Strong drafting and case preparation skills.
• Confident working independently and advising internal stakeholders.
