Are you looking to begin or continue your journey in education? We are currently supporting several secondary schools across the Wirral seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join their teams this September.

Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate, or someone with a background in youth work, care, or support roles, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the classroom while gaining valuable experience.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and students to provide classroom support that enhances learning and engagement. Duties include:

Supporting students during lessons across various subjects

Working 1:1 or with small groups, helping to reinforce key learning points

Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting classroom routines

Assisting with lesson preparation and adapting materials where needed

Collaborating with staff to ensure all students are included and supported

While some pupils may have additional needs, this role focuses broadly on classroom support and student progress.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

✔ Experience working with young people (schools, youth settings, sports coaching, care roles, etc.)
✔ A positive, patient, and proactive approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Confidence in managing behaviour and encouraging participation
✔ An interest in education and student development
✔ A relevant qualification is helpful, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
