Vehicle Technician - £36,000 to £42,000 per annum + Overtime & Shift Allowance

A leading independent specialist is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team within a well-established commercial and prestige vehicle operation. This role offers excellent earning potential, training opportunities, and a supportive working environment.

The Role

As a Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including:

* Carrying out vehicle inspections to DVSA standards

* Performing routine servicing and repair work on vans

* Conducting electrical and mechanical diagnostics using specialist diagnostic software

* Undertaking occasional offsite inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, with some direct customer contact

The Person

We are looking for a fully qualified and skilled Technician with recognised industry qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent). The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* The ability to use computer devices and diagnostic software confidently

* A proactive approach, able to work independently as well as within a team

* High standards of quality, health & safety, and housekeeping

* Willingness to undertake ongoing training and stay up to date with vehicle technologies

* A valid UK driving licence (essential)

Working Hours

* Rotating shifts:

* 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday-Friday)

* 1:30pm - 10:00pm (Monday-Friday)

* Saturday mornings (7:00am - 12:00pm) on a rota basis, paid at overtime rate
