Salary: £31000 - £35000/annum

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work for an established, growing business in the Blackpool area.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm whilst training then alternate shifts 1 in 3 between 6am-2pm, 8am - 4pm and 2pm - 10pm (in the future) with every 3rd weekend (in the future)

Salary: 31k - 35k depending on experience

About the role:

As part of the on-site engineering team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the plant machinery and production equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This is a varied role that requires someone who is methodical, reactive when needed, and focused on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on a range of production machinery including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems

Complete daily maintenance and safety checklists, ensuring all equipment is in full working order

Respond swiftly and effectively to any equipment faults, minimising downtime and supporting operational continuity

Assist in machinery setups and changeovers when required

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and safety

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with other departments

Operate safely at all times and uphold company Health and Safety standards

Training in forklift and scissor lift operation will be provided

Skills and experience:

Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge (multi-skilled preferred)

Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics (training provided if needed)

Comfortable working at height (training provided if needed)

Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, close knit team

Strong communication and problem solving skills

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role
