Customer Service Administrator

Near to Kettering


Full-time: 38 hours per week - Monday: 8.30am - 5pm; Tuesday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Salary: £19,500 per annum

The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for proactively managing accounts on a day-to-day basis, processing orders, and complying with the administrative processes.

We are looking for someone who is competent with MS Office and has strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a desire to always provide the highest level of service whilst under pressure are key requirements of this role, along with accurate data entry skills and a great telephone manner.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Handle telephone/written enquiries & orders as and when required.
Regularly update all markets on stock availability and outstanding orders.
Produce all aspects of export documentation, despatching, and invoicing as required, according to the customer profile.
Answer calls and offer cover on team members' phone as required (an office-wide policy).
Liaise with the team leader regarding internal and external problems, including any necessary training or holiday.
Attend team meetings as required.
Provide any other ad hoc administrative support as required and be flexible and adaptable in line with business demand.
Responsible for booking transport, liaising with carriers and prepare any relevant transport related paperwork.Key skills and experience required:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), organisational, and administrative skills.
Good numeracy and IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
Able to build and maintain good customer relationships.
Customer service experience preferable but not essential.
Eager to learn and develop new skills.
