PE Teacher – Daventry

Full Time | Start: After Easter | KS3–KS4£150–£250 per day (Experience Dependent)Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Reed Education are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Daventry who are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter break. This is a full-time position teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity for the role to become temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

We welcome applications from both qualified and unqualified teachers with strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students through sport and physical education.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and dynamic PE lessons across KS3–KS4
• Plan and deliver a broad curriculum including team sports, fitness, and outdoor activities
• Promote a positive culture of participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles
• Support the wider school community through extracurricular clubs and activities
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils in line with safeguarding expectations
• Ability to teach Maths as a second subject is highly advantageous (not essential)

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or unqualified teachers with strong PE experience
• Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate learners
• A genuine passion for sport and student development
• Positive, reliable, and confident delivering practical and theory-based PE
• Flexibility and commitment to the full-time role
