Site Manager - Civils / Groundworks (Surfacing & Car Parks)
Durham | 12-16 Week Contract | Rate Negotiable DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee a groundworks project in Durham, specialising in surfacing and car park works on a 12-16 week contract.

This role requires a strong leader with proven experience in civils and groundworks, capable of managing trades on site while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and coordinating groundworks and surfacing trades

*

Overseeing day-to-day site operations

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme

*

Full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance

*

Quality control of surfacing and associated civils works

*

Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and senior management

*

Maintaining site organisation and standards

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing civils / groundworks projects

*

Strong background in surfacing and car park schemes

*

Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations

*

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme

*

SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid (essential)

*

Temporary Works / Streetworks (beneficial - amend if required)

Rate negotiable depending on experience.
