81288 - Senior Solution Architect (Microsoft)

📍 London | 💼 Permanent | 💷 £90,000 + 7.5% bonus | 🏢 Hybrid (3 days office / 2 remote after probation)

Are you a Senior Solution Architect ready to shape the future of enterprise technology at scale?
Join UK Power Networks and play a pivotal role in modernising core platforms across Azure, M365 and the Power Platform, helping power millions of homes and businesses across the UK.

As a trusted technical authority within the Information Systems team, you'll define current and target-state architectures, modernise legacy 3‑tier applications, and lead the adoption of cloud-native, data-driven and platform-led solutions.

You'll work closely with senior business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams and strategic partners-guiding architectural decisions across multiple customer journeys while influencing up to £5m of technology investment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll:

• Own and evolve enterprise and solution architectures
• Lead design assurance through governance and Architecture Review Boards
• Champion standardisation and minimal customisation
• Drive transformation across Azure, M365, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric
• Mentor and coach junior architects while shaping long-term roadmaps

You'll thrive here if you enjoy solving complex business problems with technology and can confidently translate architecture into value. You'll bring:

• Proven experience as a Senior Solution Architect in a large, complex IT environment
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, M365, Dynamics and Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of cyber security, identity, integration and data architecture
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF / ArchiMate)
• The credibility to influence senior leaders and diverse technical teams
