Role Details:This opportunity is for a skilled Science Teacher with experience supporting students with SEN such as Autism, SLD, PMLD, and other complex needs. You'll help make science both accessible and exciting through sensory-based and visual learning.
Must-Have Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Legal permission to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Track record in UK SEN classrooms
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Key Duties:
- Develop creative science lessons adapted to sensory and cognitive needs
- Work within EHCP guidelines to support learning outcomes
- Promote student engagement and regulate behaviour in a positive way
- Offer holistic support, including care and emotional encouragement
