What will you do as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst at N Brown?

(Responsibilities and Accountabilities):

  • Provide data and MI to enhance the performance of our credit customers, including collections and credit losses
  • Enhance existing financial commercial models including building out brand level and risk-based profitability models
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather data and input assumptions for financial model and forecasting
  • Managing and converting large datasets into concise, easy to understand reports
  • Supporting evaluation of business decisions to assess the feasibility and potential return on investment

Who you are (Job qualifications and key skills):

  • Experience in financial modelling including advanced Excel
  • SQL and Teradata (or other equivalent) experience would be advantageous
  • Power BI experience would be advantageous
  • Degree involving statistical analysis and modelling is advantageous
  • Part Qualified accountant preferred but not essential
  • Highly analytical with strong numerical and technical skills and eye for detail.
  • Review and manipulate large datasets and translate these into meaningful insights.
  • Naturally inquisitive with a desire to understand, learn, develop and share knowledge.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience of data languages (SQL) and Teradata is desirable
  • Experience in Power BI is desirable
  • Experience of Oracle Cloud Financial Systems and TM1 is desirable but not essential
