Operations Technician
Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Operations Technician to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is ideally suited to someone with knowledge of Quality Management Systems, experience within the medical device sector, and a positive, flexible approach to work.

Role Overview
The Operations Technician will support production and operational activities while ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), GMP principles, and health & safety standards. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with equipment setup and changeovers prior to job execution
Operate production equipment safely and effectively
Follow approved operating procedures and GMP principles at all times
Accurately complete GMP and production documentation
Clean and maintain equipment in line with work instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Contribute to waste management and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain quality metrics as directed by the functional lead
Attend team meetings and participate in cross-functional activities when required
Complete all required training and stay current with individual training plans
Demonstrate flexibility, good timekeeping, and a positive team approach

What we are looking for

Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Some medical device or regulated industry experience preferred
Familiarity with GMP environments desirable
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Adaptable, reliable, and willing to support across functions
