Curriculum Delivery:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the KS3 and KS4 science curriculum, covering biology, chemistry, and physics.
Ensure lessons align with national standards and learning objectives.

Differentiated Instruction:

Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or gifted students.

Assessment and Feedback:

Design, administer, and grade assessments (formative and summative) to evaluate student understanding.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.

Practical Experiments:

Organize and oversee laboratory experiments, ensuring safety and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Foster hands-on learning and curiosity through practical science activities.

Classroom Management:

Behavior Management:

Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
Implement behavior management strategies in line with school policies.

Resource Management:

Manage and utilize resources, such as laboratory equipment and teaching aids, effectively.

Pastoral and Student Support:

Student Engagement:

Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and enthusiasm for science among students.
Identify and support students struggling with the subject through extra help sessions or differentiated tasks.

Mentorship:

Act as a mentor and advisor for students, promoting their academic and personal development.

Professional Development and Collaboration:

Continuous Learning:

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on teaching methods, curriculum changes, and scientific advancements.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other teachers and departments to enhance the overall learning experience.
Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.

Administrative Duties:

Lesson Planning and Reporting:

Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and progress reports for individual students and classes.

Data Tracking:

Monitor and record student progress, attendance, and behavior, using school systems to report to parents and stakeholders.

Examination Preparation:

Prepare students for internal and external exams, such as GCSEs, ensuring they understand the format and content
