Embroidery Operative

Location: Chatham, Kent

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Embroidery Operative to join a growing and friendly team based in Chatham, Kent.

The Role

As an Embroidery Operative, you will be responsible for operating embroidery machines to produce high‑quality embroidered garments and products, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating industrial embroidery machines
• Setting up machines, including hooping and threading
• Following job specifications and artwork accurately
• Quality checking finished products
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Meeting production targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience in embroidery or textile production is preferred
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
• Basic machine maintenance knowledge is an advantage
