The Role
The Head of Year will:
* Lead the pastoral care, behaviour, and attendance for a designated year group.
* Manage and support a team of form tutors, overseeing the delivery of the tutorial programme.
* Be the primary point of contact for parents/carers regarding student welfare and progress.
* Monitor student progress, identify barriers to learning, and implement appropriate interventions.
* Liaise with external agencies and internal support staff to provide comprehensive student support.
* Promote the school's values and ethos, fostering a positive year group identity.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced teacher (QTS/QTLS) who:
