We are currently working with a well-established M&E contractor specialising in high-end CAT A and CAT B office fit-out projects across London. With an annual turnover of approximately £80 million, the business has built a solid reputation for delivering technically complex commercial schemes to the highest standards.

They are now seeking an experienced Freelance Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a freelance professional to oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring successful delivery from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple mechanical fit-out projects (CAT A & B) across London.

*

Oversee subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with project specs and compliance standards.

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

*

Work closely with the commercial team on cost control, variations, and procurement.

*

Attend regular site meetings and progress reporting.

*

Ensure all H&S regulations are adhered to on site.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing mechanical packages on CAT A/B office fit-out projects.

*

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and public health systems within commercial buildings.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

*

Strong communication and leadership skills.

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred.

This is a freelance role offering £325 per day via CIS, with an anticipated start in 3 to 4 weeks.
