Machinist - London - £42k

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading mechanical manufacturer. They are looking for a CNC machinist who can support the workshop team with the modification and manufacture of special tooling and rebuild tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret engineering drawings to help the machining process

*

Setting up and operating manual machinery

*

Working to specifications to ensure accurate work

*

Maintenance on the equipment

*

Carry out balancing tasks.

Key Skills Required:

*

Experience with CNC lathe's, milling and drilling

*

Good communication skills

*

Strong mechanical knowledge and previous work within engineering environments.

*

Understanding of engineering drawings.

The salary will be up to £42k depending on previous experience with great company benefits.
