We’re working with a leading provider of specialist residential care, dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.They are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of their safety strategy and drive a culture where safeguarding and wellbeing sit at the heart of everything they do.Why This Role MattersThis is more than a typical Health & Safety role. You’ll operate in a highly impactful, regulated environment where your expertise will directly protect both employees and vulnerable young people.From shaping policies to leading audits and influencing leadership teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding a proactive, forward-thinking safety culture across the organisation.The Role
  • Lead and develop the Health & Safety strategy across multiple residential sites
  • Conduct audits, investigations, and compliance reporting to drive continuous improvement
  • Deliver engaging and practical training to teams at all levels
  • Support managers with risk assessments and safety planning
  • Champion a positive safety culture where accountability is shared across the business
About You
  • NEBOSH qualified with proven multi-site Health & Safety experience
  • Strong communicator, confident influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel across Cumbria and the North East
  • Experience within residential care, education, or regulated environments is advantageous
