Akton are recruiting on behalf of a client who has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Design & Management Advisor to join the new Health & Safety team based in Birmingham with a potential for hybrid working. You'll work on a wide range of projects, including national refurbishment and new build schemes across residential, education, health, care, commercial and blue light sectors.

Responsibilities include:

Carrying out site inspections, audits, advice, monitoring of key gateways and information including risk & method statements, Operations &Maintenance and Health & Safety file.
Working on RIBA stages 1-6.
Work alongside the Head of Construction Design & Management, under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System to assist clients to manage health and safety risks by delivering a bespoke service.The ideal CDM Advisor will have:

Demonstration of Health & Safety skills and knowledge
5+ years industry experience
Health and Safety professional qualification such as:
Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health - IOSH
Member of the Association of Project Safety - APS
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety
International Institute of Risk and Safety Management - IIRSM
