About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Complex Care Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for a private, family run company based in Edinburgh. This role involves providing 2:1 support to a young person with autism, supporting them to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own home.
You will play a vital role in the individual’s daily life and wellbeing, offering consistent, professional, and compassionate care within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support in the service user’s home
- Assist with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
- Support daily living activities, routines, and structured engagement
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition, including assistance with feeding where required
- Carry out household tasks such as shopping, housekeeping, and laundry
- Promote a safe, secure, and calm home environment
- Work collaboratively within a 2:1 support team
- Record care delivered accurately and report relevant information
- Escalate any changes or concerns regarding the service user to management promptly
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in providing complex care and/or autism support.
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Able to communicate effectively with service user, their family other and professionals
- Committed to delivering safe, professional, and compassionate care
- A driver (preferred) due to the nature of the role
