Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for a Year 1 class

Support pupils as they transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1

Foster a positive, stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence

Work closely with the KS1 team to ensure continuity and progress

Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and feedback

Maintain effective behaviour and classroom management in line with school policies

What We're Looking For

Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Passionate about early primary education and child development

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A creative, enthusiastic teacher who inspires confidence and motivation in young learners
